In this article, I'm going to give a bit of career advice to your kids.<\/p>\n

Many of you are probably homeschooling, you are trying to ensure that your kids have the best possible future.<\/p>\n

What kind of subjects should you encourage your kids to focus on?<\/p>\n

Well, let's think about what we know about the future of the work, and work backward from there.<\/p>\n

We do know for a fact that Australia and essentially all industrialised economies will further move to knowledge work away from the manufacturing type of work to the knowledge economies.<\/p>\n

For example, in Australia for the last 50 years, half of the new jobs that we added to Australia required at least a university-level degree.<\/p>\n

So, therefore, of course, education is King.<\/strong><\/p>\n
