It is virtually impossible to become successful with a negative mindset.<\/p>\n

Negativity puts the emotional centres of the brain in control while shutting down the logical\/analytical centres of the brain.<\/p>\n

When you make decisions using the emotional centers of the brain, those decisions are always bad decisions.<\/p>\n

And decisions made out of Fear, are always the worst of the worst, bad decisions you can make.<\/p>\n

Negativity prevents success, and since wealth is a byproduct of success, negativity makes it nearly impossible to become wealthy.<\/p>\n

Even worse, a negative mindset disrupts the normal operations of the parasympathetic system, depresses the immune system, and can lead to depression.<\/p>\n

So, for those who desire to succeed in life, it\u2019s critical to make Positivity a daily habit.<\/p>\n

Since Love is the strongest positive emotion, making Love a daily habit has a cascading effect, triggering other positive emotions, which shifts your mindset from negative to positive.<\/p>\n

But, you don\u2019t have to take it from me.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve accumulated a treasure trove of studies on the benefits of positivity.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at a few of those studies:<\/p>\n

\"Positive\"<\/p>\n

Positivity Strengthens Your Immune System<\/span><\/h2>\n

Researchers at Harvard Health found that having an optimistic attitude reduces blood pressure, prevents heart disease, and increases your immune system\u2019s ability to fight off diseases, viruses, and parasites.<\/p>\n

As one self-made millionaire from my Rich Habits Study told me, \u201cYou can\u2019t make money from a hospital bed\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Good health is critical to success because, without it, success is impossible.<\/p>\n

So, good health at least gives you the ability to pursue wealth.<\/p>\n

Positivity Increases Focus and Risk Tolerance<\/span><\/h2>\n

B. L. Fredrickson (1998\/2001 Broaden and Build Theory) found that positive emotions increase your concentration abilities and increase your risk tolerance.<\/p>\n

According to my Rich Habits Study data, focus and risk tolerance were two common traits all self-made millionaires had.<\/p>\n

The self-made millionaires in my Study had a laser-like focus. \r\n

<\/div><\/p>\n

They were able to focus on their dreams and goals for years and even decades.<\/p>\n

Also, these same millionaires pursued dreams and goals that required them to take enormous financial risks.<\/p>\n

If you have a negative mindset you will allow Fear and Anxiety to control your decision-making and this will prevent you from taking any risks, because those with a negative mindset, believe they will fail.<\/p>\n

Those with a positive mindset, however, have higher risk tolerance.<\/p>\n

They are more willing to take risks because they believe they will succeed.<\/p>\n

Positivity Increases Your Earnings<\/span><\/h2>\n

Diener, Nickerson, Lucas, and Sandvik (2002) found that those with a positive mindset had higher incomes than those with a negative mindset.<\/p>\n

People want to do business with people they like and those with an optimistic mindset are more likable.<\/p>\n

Positivity Doubles Brain Power<\/span><\/h2>\n

In one study on negativity, two neurologists found that when you have a negative mindset your prefrontal cortex is not functioning properly.<\/p>\n

The prefrontal cortex is the seat of decision-making and creativity.<\/p>\n

When you are negative, you literally shut down half of your brain.<\/p>\n

Positivity Increases Life Span<\/span><\/h2>\n

Moskowitz (2003), Ostir, Markides, Black, and Goodwin (2000) found that those with a positive mindset lived longer than those with a negative mindset.<\/p>\n

Positive People Are More Successful<\/span><\/h2>\n

Union College Psychology Professors Joshua Hart and Christopher Chabris found that success was correlated to individuals with a positive mindset.<\/p>\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
